Feb 2, 2024 · The Carnival Freedom is definitely an older ship. It was built in 2007, making it about 16 years old at the time I’m writing this. It was refurbished in 2023, but that mostly consisted of repairing the ship’s “whale tail”, which was previously damaged in a fire. And to be honest, the ship is showing its age a bit.
